Donation Refund Policy

SanskarSena Samiti is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in the processing of donation refund requests, particularly in an era where digital and online donations are increasingly common. We request all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations.

That said, we understand that donations may occasionally be made in error or that a donor may later wish to reconsider their contribution. In such cases, SanskarSena Samiti will review each refund request on a case-by-case basis and, where deemed appropriate, initiate the refund process.

Important Notes

  • SanskarSena Samiti is not obligated to provide refunds and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve or decline any refund request.

  • Refund requests may be declined in situations where a tax exemption certificate has already been issued.

  • We may require additional documentation or clarification from the donor to process a refund. Full cooperation from the donor is expected to ensure timely review.

How to Request a Refund

To request a donation refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The refund request must be submitted in writing or via email.

  • The request must be received within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of donation.

The “date of donation” refers to the day on which you:

  • Made the donation online, electronically, or through any digital platform; or

  • Handed over the cheque or demand draft to SanskarSena Samiti or its authorized representative; or

  • Dispatched the cheque or demand draft to SanskarSena Samiti via post or courier.

Required Information

All refund requests must clearly mention the reason for the refund and include the following details:

  • Date of Donation

  • Donation Amount

  • Cheque/Demand Draft Number (if applicable)

  • Last 4 digits of the Credit Card (if applicable)

  • Donation ID or Transaction Reference Number (for online donations)

Incomplete requests may result in delays or rejection.
